black- 2000 nhra edition formula
but thats going to cost you more money to do it over again.
i would really hate to see you make the mistake i did and not get a slightly bigger t/c.
email any ls1 tuner, pretend like youre going to buy a ls1 heads cam package and you also want a stall and ask them what they would be a good fit.2000 nhra edition formula
a few bolt ons, 379 rwhp

I'll call around and see wassup mate, I'll call for some second opinion of a stall with the G5X3 cam which is slightly aggresive.

yeah, the mechanic at LG Motorsports said going 500rwhp on stock 10 bolt and a bigger stall will create more heat and strees on the rear end... so he recommended 3000, but I will ask for more shops to voice in see what they say. 3000 is acceptable but if I can have 3400 and still be safe on the rear end bolt I'd go with that...

ya ... I'll drive it carefully, I heard some folks on this site doin 450rwhp-500 and taking to the track and they are ok on the stock bolt. what saves me is the A4, less stress on the rear.

Yep, thats the whole reason why GM put torque management in the tune of these cars. It doesn't take much. I also agree with NHRAformula,,,the stall speed of 3000 or 3500 won't make any difference on whether your rearend will last or not. With the kind of power you are talking about, a rear upgrade is necessary and makes the car much more safe. Loosing an axle at high speed is no fun, and whats worse, is depending on how the rearend breaks, it sometimes will take the transmission with it.
I personally prefer to start modding a 4th gen from the rearend and work myself forward. Larry.
