Clutch not disengaging
ok hey guys i got a question, im not sure if this is a common problem but here it goes. i changed my clutch pad about a thousand miles ago i used a spec 3+ clutch, this is off topic but to anyone changing a clutch never buy a spec clutch they are such a hassle, but the first problem was the clutch didn't disengage and you couldn't get it into gear that problem was fixed because spec sent a spacer for the tranny and the throw out bearing but i removed it then it was fine. i then drove my SS for about a thousand miles every thing seemed fine the clutch was disengaging fine and i broke it in fine. i then drove it last night, not very far just about 30 miles, but i noticed the clutch peddle seemed a little soft i thought nothing of it because it had done it before and spec said it was fine its supposed to be like that.
So then i go to drive it this morning and it wont get into gear its still got a soft clutch, but i was in a rush today so all i looked at was the fluid in the clutch reservoir and it seemed to be at a fine level.
so if anyone has had this problem or knows whats wrong, i would greatly appreciate it. just keep in mind i havent tried to bleed it yet but i will try that at some point in this weekend. only other thing i can think off is that i got a faulty slave cylinder but i changed that out with the line and reservoir when i did the clutch.

Sounds like a hydraulics issue. Fresh, clean fluid is a good place to start. If that doesn't do it, then consider a new master and slave cylinder. Best to do them in pairs if the budget allows.

how did u make out 99ss? im having that problem now with my spec clutch, orderded the shim to put in, but the thing that gets me once the car warms up clutch will fully disengage and the clutch wiull grab right in the middle which is good in my book, tryed bleeding in many times and have a new slave (not gm) next option is shim it or get a new master, thanks
