No pedal pressure after clutch install
I installed a new clutch setup in my car, and a new slave to go with it. I put it all back together with a remote bleeder and try to start bleeding the system. I do it like 20 and 30 times and can't get the tiniest bit of pedal pressure. evertime i crack it fluid just kinda flows out... it's not air, but the fluid isn't squirting.... it's the original master and that's what im guessing it is.
Also, the fluid was filthy when i changed it with a turkey baster about 3 weeks ago (just so ther'd be no complications with the install.) It has to be the master because i connected the old slave to the master to see if it did the same thing, and it did. What do you think it is? could it be just goop clogging the restrictor plate? If ya'll think this is the case what should i do to fix it, cause i need the car running, i'm ordering a tick tonite either way but i just need to drive the car for a few weeks till it comes in.
Thanks for the advice... tell me if you agree or disagree on the diagnosis

These hydraulic clutches can be a real pain to bleed. They don't seem to like to be bled like a normal hydraulic brake system. We have a sticky on the best and fastest way to bleed these. Mity Vac Clutch bleeding
If you don't have a mity vac, then you need to pump the pedal several times between cracking the bleeder open to "refill" the slave cylinder. Keep a close eye on the fluid level in the master. It empties out quickly.

Go to Sears and get a Mity Vac and give it a try.
Are you pumping the pedal several times in between opening up the bleeder? We had to pump the pedal like 5 times in between. We would push the pedal down, pull it back up(since it wouldn't return on its own). Sounds similar?

i just read the mighty vac thin and i saw that you had the same problem with your ctsv, was it behaving in a similar manner as i described? are you suggesting that i just need to use a mighty vac instead?

We eventually got it without a mity vac, but even GM recommends the mity vac method now in their service information. We basically pumped a million times and every time we close the bleeder and tried to pump, it felt like no one was home, until one time I decided to pump the pedal a bunch of times without opening the bleeder. after several pumps the pedal starting returning on its own (and felt sorta normal) and we decided that we were good. Took it out and it drove fine.
I later read somewhere the the slave needs to be pumped up sorta like a brake pedal after a brake job. You know what I mean?

hah nah man my pedal comes back up quickly every time, it acts like it works but just doesn't... i mean it has no pressure but it still works as in goes up and down quickly... it has about the same pressure as the accelerator.... for comparison sake... and like the system is pretty much bled... it's just there's no pressure, and there are no leaks either.... so i'm guessin the master is clogged... i guess i'll ahve to get a mighty vac... are they ad advance?
