    Question hard shifting and reverse pops out

    hey everyone i have an 04 gto and right now its rough when shifting and reverse just pops out and grinds. any ideas as to what it is?

    Mine used to do that too. I changed out the clutch fluid and since I had the tailshaft seal replaced, mine no longer grinds or pops out going into reverse. Could be me though.

    My 06 does this in second gear; I really have to slam it down hard to get it to stay in second. Think its the same thing?

    synchro wear possibly? My buddy had an 05 and wore out the 2nd gear synchro twice. Contaminated fluid maybe
