oil drain plug size
what size is it? i am having issues. think i need some sleep, but i can't get the damn thing off. . . . .thanks

If you mean the wrench size, 15mm. Tighten to 225 inch lbs.

Yep, 15 MM. Oil change places like to overtighten it; filter too.

Originally thought that this topic would cover drain plug thread size. I believe I have since found the right drain plug on Jegs as Thread Size: M12-1.75. Is that correct?
Also, it appears they also sell a rubber washer/gasket for the drain plug. Does the stock LS1 drain plug have a replaceable rubber washer/gasket on it?
Mine is seeping and I'd rather replace a washer instead of the whole drain plug if in fact it's replaceable. Thanks for any help.

yes it is 12mm x 1.75. just buy the whole bolt. i think the gasket is integrated.

Current GM Part number is 11562588. Has the integrated gasket.
ATI Procharger, SFCs, Y-pipe, LM2, BBK Shorty Headers, Corvette N73 Magnesium Wheels, 4th Circle Designs Stripe and Overlay kit
