Red- 2000 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
I need help picking the right cam
I have a 2000 Z28 with an LS1. I'm thinking about getting a cam I could run with stock heads but keeping it a daily driver. As of now, I have Edelbrock short tube headers, and a full Corsa exhaust system. In a few months I'm going to install a new intake manifold and throttle body with the slp "flo-pac". But after I do all that I want to get a cam. I was looking through some of the threads and a lot of people were mentioning the 224/224 cams. Is there any cam in particular I should look into? Also, I don't want the cam to sound really crazy at an idle, I want it to sound smooth. Any suggestions?
BTW, this is what my car looks like.

what intake? if its not a fast 90/90 or 92/92 then dont even think about swapping the Tb..also hate to tell you but shorties are pointless. get LTs then a fast 90/90+ then we will talk about getting you a great cam

black- 2000 nhra edition formula
dont waste your money on the slp flo pack.
to best help the cam breath, long tube headers would be your best option.
as for cams, for a daily driver the 224 or the 228 are perfect.2000 nhra edition formula

2001 3.8 Black - sold- 2000 SS Black M6
Im not looking at getting a cam anytime soon, although it would be fun to put one in the 3.8.
But I was wondering how an MS4 cam ranks, i see it pop up a lot of places.
