    Thumbs down car wont start

This has happened 4 times now..., Basicly the car acts as if the clutch isnt pushed in, everything it lit on dash. I just keep tryin it and eventually it finally will crank and it fires right up.

I assume something to do with the sensor that tells the car i have the clutch in? Is this normal?

I have a warnenty still until aug so if i could get it coverd it would be great...

This prob wouldnt mean my clutch is gone would it? because it seems to work fine

does your security light stay on or anything like that? What happens when you turn the key over? Nothing?

You have to take out the bottom plastic panel and knee bolster to get to the switch. It's a white pushbutton switch you'll see it. When you crank the engine see if the security light stays on. If it does, it's the resistor on your key

it's hard to say cause it could be the wiring to the switch. Check everything, make sure you have power and ground to the switch. Last resort, replace it if nothing else

if nothing happens, and the lights just turn on but engine doesnt crank i would put my money on the security system our cars have. if its not the key it could be a corroded or loose wire under dash. i had the same stupid problem with my 95 bird. it was just a loose wire with the security system.
