It wasn't a recall, just a TSB (03-08-98-001 February '03). Click on the link in the first post for the pdf: www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21339

Black- 2000 Camaro SS
I have that problem with my 00 SS but not my 98 Z. The dealer told me they could replace the roof skin or repaint but repaint would be a short term fix. I went with the repaint because I felt the cure was worse than the disease. The paint last 4 years and the bubbles are back.

I have the same problem as well. Took it 7 years but they finally started showing up. I'll probably just repaint it black like the camaros. I think it looks better that way.

All Black- 83, 87, 02 All WS6 T/As
What the prob is was the glue that they used didn't bond.. and it starts to come through the paint.. like said, they need to replace the roof panel with the proper adhesive and repaint.

I tried to go about a year ago to see if they would cover the TSB. They looked into it for about two day's and said that it couldn't be covered any more. A guestimate of the fix from the dealer was about $1100. Y I decided painting it is better.

I have the recall on here if anyone wants it.. its PDF format from gm. Pretty crappy quality but it works.. 99-02.. Bastards decided to leave out the 98s.

I had the dreaded "bubbles" and got it repaired by bringing the TSB to the dealer I bought the Z28 from. They did a great job and I have yet to see another bubble...

Pewter- 2002 T/A WS6
I have the beginings of some places on mine - noticed it when I got the car but knew it was normal (2002). I'm not worrying about it for now. I know it will get worse, but I'll tackle that problem when it gets there.
