window motor install
I have an 01 formula, the driver window does not go up all the way, there is about an inch gap of open space. I bought a new motor and planned on putting it on myself, but all of this rivet talk has me spooked. I'm getting tints put on on Monday so I need my window fixed this weekend. I bought the motor, lets say a mechanic could do it on short notice how much do you think they would charge to install a window motor. thanks

window motor
Hey man its not too bad too do really easy if you have someone helping you. Just drill out the rivets and when you put the new one in use little bolts instead of rivets. My guess if you took it in it would cost you atleast $100 or more too have someone do it. I have put one in by myself in less than 2 hours screwing around. My buddy and i did it in hour one night and we were drinking. Just do it yourself save you ton of money. ramair1999@hotmail.com

i took mine to a shell mechanic *the gas station* and it was 130 bucks installed w/ all their parts.. pretty reasonable imo. and it took about 2 hours.
not bad considering I just spend 300 bucks today getting 1 tire and inspection lol..

Just put one on my driver side too. It took me about 30mins to do. A little advice it's easier to handle the motor if you remove the speaker as well. You'll be able to do it yourself and not bust your knuckles in the process.
