Get one with a lifetime warranty from your local parts store and do it yourself. $500 is crazy. There are several online guides with pics on how to replace it.

That sounds like a lot....... I have had to replace both of mine. You can get the replacement motors for a lot cheaper then that and you should be able to do it yourself. I am real bad at fixing things and even I did it. Do not pay anywhere near $500

You can do it yourself for $50 or less. I'm sure there is a sticky on it somewhere. Just search for it.

If the window motor is out, try Hawksthirdgen.com
If the motor works but, just slow, try autotrix.net They have a slow window fix kit.
Hope this helps.

I replaced the window motor myself and its pretty easy. I bought one from auto zone and it works well. Its been a few years since i put it in and its still going strong. They cost around $60. Here is the web site I used to help me install the motor. Your getting bent over if you pay $500 for a window motor replacement..

I got 2 lifetime warranty motors from autozone about $60.00 apiece and the local autoglass company charged me $45.00 a window to install them. What a rip off artist!
