    skip shift eliminator

    does anyone have the skip shift elimanator from ws6project.com
    it seems like a good deal but on the other hand its only $18 (it might be a piece)

    can any one shin some light on this

    I'm an A4 guy, but friends of mine have bypassed CAGS with a cheap resistor from radio shack - installuniversity.com shows both methods.

    if you know someone with HP Tuners they can disable it that way too for a couple bucks

    Plus this method will keep the light off.
    The resistor or the eliminator will still have the light.

    Computer aided gear shifting.If you had a M6 and was driving nice and slow around town,a solenoid built into the transmision would force you to shift fron first to fourth in order to save gas to meet Cafe and emission standards.But the shift is annoying more than anything else! Also it would only happen under certain conditions dictated by speed,air temp etc....so it was always a surprise!

    It sure did!I did that resistor thing from install U.-works great!Only thing is when it should be shifting,a light comes on and says so .No biggie,I ignore it.
