In-Line Booster Fuel Pump Question?
I am presently running a Vortech V9. Part of the the kit has is a In-Line External fuel pump.
My question is, when I turn on key on, should I hear the pump working or does this external pump only engage when there is a drop in fuel during boost?
Reason why I ask is that I am seeing a drop in fuel pressure when boosting even if only at 3-5 lbls. But when I just have the car on idle I am at 59 lbs.

You should be able to hear it running when you turn the key. Unless it is set up to kick in at a certain Psi but it doesn't sound like it would be if it was from the kit.
