My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
stupid a/c bolt is stripped
I'm having an extremely difficult time removing my a/c pulley due to a stripped bolt. What the hell do i do to remove it? I'd like to avoid GM or a mechanic if possible. The bolt is a 13 mm, but the 13 just spins around it, and a 12 doen't fit. The bolt is also resessed into the pulley.

Or you could hammer the 12m on the bolt.

try to hammer a standard size on to it, you should be able to find one that almost fits but is just too tight.. The 12mm will most likely be too small to hammer on. Usually works for me and i just had to use this method on my atv. Also worked on my saturn when i had to remove the front engine/timing chain cover, i acutally just left the entire socket on there because it was some cheap tawain socket lol...

1/2" socket is slightly undersized on a 13mm nut. Perfect for this situation.

I agree with all of the above, either a "bolt out socket" i picked a kit up from sears, or just hammer on a smaller socket, since the bolt is "fubar" then get creative.
