Lt1 Cam Installation
How hard is it to install a cam? I would like advice from someone who has installed 1 on an obd2 lt1.

Intake manifold has to come out... and everything on top of it, etc. Radiator, water pump, timing cover, opti, valvetrain. You'll need new valvesprings for the cam, and I would recommend new valve seals, locks, retainers, pushrods, and roller rockers. Also, depending on the mileage, make sure your lifters are up to the task, as well as your timing set (a new one would be best). Make sure you keep coolant off of your distributor, and use RTV when re-sealing your intake manifold on the end rails.
