Black- 1987 Grand National
Raced a Yellow C5 today.
I would like to say first that I'm a Diehard GM fan and have loved Corvettes for over 20 years so there was no pleasure in this. It was a beautiful yellow C5 with rims and wide tires. I was on my way to the bank when he pulled over in the next lane and next to me at a light. We acknowledged each others rides and his girlfriend was laughing. We rolled to about 20 mph and all hell broke loose. I spun a bit up until about 45 mph and then the boost smacked 20-21 psi and I proceeded to put multiple carlengths on him. I have no idea how fast I was going because I still have the original 85 mph speedo, but I figured I blew past 100 mph. I don't like racing other GM cars when I can help it and he was cool. I have some major upgrades to my car, but I would guess that his C5 was near stock.

Nice Kill, I love GN's!
however, for your lack of loyalty in racing another GM product, you are banished from the general's realm and must buy a scion. a pink one. and fuzzy dice... and neon ground effects. now go reflect on the sins you have commited
Why don't you like racing other GM cars? It's not like you are actually killing them.

your driving ability

if you can't get to a track, see if you can borrow a gtech from someone. It would be good if you could get it on a dyno too.
Neither of those is a real substitution for making it out to a 1/4 mile dragstrip, though!!

Thanks alot guys for the compliments. I have wanted one since I was in Highschool(eek 87) when my friends mother picked him up in one. It's been a lot of work and sometimes I have wanted to hit it with a hammer, but it's a fun hobby.
