raced a 99-04 GT vert today

I was driving on the interstate and I see a yellow GT vert come up the onramp and I see him get on it pretty hard. He looked in his mirror and saw my car creeping up and he slowed down. We get even and he floors it (AUTO) before I could honk and he gets a 1/2 a car ahead before I downshift. Well, the funny thing is I could've swore that I put it in 3rd, well I didn't; it was in 5th and I was hanging with him at his door up to 90, then I started to pull on him til 130. I had almost a car by 130 at about 3500-4k. I thought it was funny cuz at first I said to myself, he must have some mods cuz we're dead even then I looked at my tach and then I said aww shit, I'm in 5th.. ehh, might as well keep it here I'm starting to pull. I wanted to slow back down and get him to go again, but he never got near me again.

Maybe next time I'll put it in 3rd and see how much harder I'd pull on him

I want to say good kill, but you would've killed him if you were in the right gear. Either way you pulled on him in OD gear. He probably told himself wow thats the closest race ive had with a LS1 Camaro, lol.

he went and told all his friends he just beat an LS1.
becuase you didnt pull on him instantly he is the victory of this kill story.

Yeah that sounds just like a stang owner. When I tried to get next to him after the run I was going say "how bout we do it again, this time I'll take it out of 5th gear"

I ran a 99-04 GT vert I also posted in this kill section. When I looked back after braking and going through an intersection, dude made a last second decision to turn

Anyways, I would say nice kill, but it is just a SOHC 4.6

But I picked on one too, so I can't say much

I knew I would've blown the doors off his GT.. I tried to run a 3v GT today with two decent chicks but she wouldn't run.

Learn To Drive. :P lol Just Playin... But in the Gay Yellow lil verts defense... Ford Auto Trans suck ass and honestly he was probably in OD... or final D. Those Trannys don't like to downshift at all... Also was it a GT? the older LX's (PRE 2011) Are shiiiiiiit.

I was in OD too!
I have an LS6 intake, EGR manifold block-off plate waiting for me at my friend's house for when i get back. I think i'm gonna go with a Frost tune sometime in November.
