fuel pump wont come out*****fixed*****
Hey guys, i cut an access panel in my ls1 camaro but i cant get the fuel pump out!?!?!?! Like i can pull it out like 6"s but theres still more embeded in the tank i cant get at at. Is there something i missed while doing it? I want to finish this tonight...ive spent 4 hrs on it already...Thanks

The fuel module is spring loaded and what popped is the part thats above the springs. You will need to pull the module up and probably tilt it to one side to clear the float for the sending unit. There is also a strainer sock at the bottom of the module, dont rip it off by accident.

I got it now...i had to twist and turn it all over...its out, now i just need to take off the old and in with the new...ahh, success is near lol
