Can someone tell me whats wrong with this LS2
Im going to look a 98 ss with ls2 swap tomorrow.The only thing is theres something up with pluming to the intake. This site wont let me post pics yet.

Looks like it has a LS1 intake with the egr still hooked up.

That's the EGR setup that Scott was referring to in his post. I think they carried that through either the '99 or '00 cars and then omitted it.

That is what I was referring to.
It's the hose coming off the egr that is still hooked up.
Like I said, looks to be a LS1 intake. No big deal, it's easy to remove and the CEL code can be deleted with a tune.
My only question would be why a LS1 intake vs a LS2 intake. The 2 performs better then the 1, but the 6 would be the best (GM parts) performance with exception to the FAST intakes.
Getting a LS6 intake or a FAST would be 1st on my list of replacing. It would wake up that LS2 quite a bit.
