AC blows not so conditioned air.
My AC has worked fine all summer. I took a 2hr highway trip and my AC starts blowing warmish air, I got off the highway to grab some food/drinks and my AC starts to run cold again. What could cause this?

Compressor relays could be going.
Has it happened again yet?

What RPM was the engine spinning at when the A/C starting blowing warm? I only ask as the A/C compressor disengages at upper RPMs to avoid being damaged.

I was cruising on the highway in 6th with 3.43s, I think that's around 1200 rpm?

Huh, Thats odd. Yeah im going to say its either your Relay, or your A/C needs to be flushed out and re-charged. Good luck, keep us posted on it.

Where you using cruise control when the AC went out? If it was working when the AC went out, then the relay should be fine (they use the same one).
If the problem was solved by giving everything a short break, I wouldn't stress. But if it happens again, pull over and leave it running and see if the AC clutch is spinning or not. I won't always spin the whole time, but should engage from time to time.

Yes, cruise control was on when the AC started to blow warmish air. How can I tell if the AC clutch is spinning? Sorry, I'm still a noob to most of this stuff.

I have a can of r-134a left over from my Jeep, should I attempt to check the pressure with it? (came with a gauge) and maybe fill it up? Where is the fill nozzle?

There's a center part to the pulley of the compressor, you can actually hear it engage as well once you what sound it is. Like I mentioned before, the clutch will spin for alittle while then stop, then start again.
Typically if your low or out of refrigerant, the cool air doesn't come back. But it can't hurt to check/top off. You want to hook up to the low side port, not the high side. I believe the kit should only be able to hook up to the low side anyways. I can't remember exactly right now, but I think it's located on the passenger side near the front of the car, but I'm not positive at the moment.
