fuel lines
when i was changing my fuel filter this week, it was so jammed on there that i pinched the little "L" shaped fuel line from the fuel filter, is it possible to replace it with a brake line or something, i know its high pressure, but space is tight down there. Just wondering on what i can do to fix it, or if some one knows that lines part number ill just buy a new one from chevy, i just dont want any brakes or leaks!

As for brake line.. Brake line handles far more psi than fuel line and you could use it if it's the right dia. However, you'd probably have to also use some rubber fuel line and a bunch of clamps to secure it to the filter.. If it where myself, I would do as you suggested, and replace the line with the proper replacement honesty.. More work but a for sure fix.. Quick disconnect is nice to have in my honest oppy.. If you're talking about the threaded portion and using a brake line with it's threaded fitting then no, brake threads and fuel line threads are not the same..

Are you talking about the L shaped hard line from the filter to the T fitting like in this picture? You should be able to buy it or find someone to make one.

the parts manual shows the front lines as a group - 10424769. If you are just talking about th short line pictured above it should be easy for a good parts place to make it for you.
