key fob and headlight issue.....

[qwk93ta]

Yesterday my car started having this problem.....when I use the key fob to lock or unlock my doors the headlight come up and then go down, but the lights don't come on. If I use the key fob to open the hatch it works fine and the door locks work fine too. Does anyone know what this could be and how to fix it?

I would do a search for past headlight problems. This seems to be a common item that pops up (no pun intended).

Start here and do a search like I said ...

Shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Thanks....I did a search for key fob issues. Below is a better link for the gear replacement.

Dang, Shockwave helped you and then you diss him. Making our generation look like angry old people????? J/K.

Yeah, it sounds like the old headlight gear issue, not a key fob thing. I keep waiting for my 10 year old key fob batteries to die, maybe I should just replace them now anyway.
