    Yet another headlight issue

So I installed the brass gears about a month ago and everythinh was fine. Now last night my passenger side won't go up. This am I manually put it up and grabbed the big harness for the motor and headlight and wiggled it. it worked until I drove it a bit now it doesn't again? I am going to blow this car up soon!

well, I disconected the harness and give the connectors both some light sandpaper and it seems to be working for now.

Clean with electronics cleaner, grease up with dielectric grease and ziptie the connector together.. had the same issues

    It could be many things.

Corroded socket, stripped gears, or the headlight motor itself has gone bad.

I need the link to the thread on swapping headlight motors maybe w/ pics.

My PS decided after 11 years it had enough and I just order the motor, will be in tomorrow. Just for fun the drivers window motor died at the same time but I hace done plently of window motors in many cars so that's no problem
