89 fox body too easy

was on my way back to ft. stewart on I95 last night and not even really payin any attention to cars passin me bc im just taken it easy then out of no were a 89 fox body 5.0 mustang pulls up beside me and just stay there, i just figured he was lookin at my car and was gonna head on like they always do. but this was def. different. so we start goin bck and fourth just jumpin at each other and at this point i droped to 4th at about 55mph and be in mind it was perfect conditions bc there was no other cars around and nothing but a state road. and well anyways we both take off at about 60 and with in not even 8th of a mile i had him by a good 7 cars. it was pretty much my first race in this car and im very happy with the results lol.

Fox bodied mustangs were decent cars when new, but they can't run with a stock LS1 unless modded, and if the LS1 is modded - well let's just say it takes a lot more to do it then. Not that there aren't fast ones out there....

What mods do you have?

this one def wasnt stock. i mean i cldnt hear my car at all over his. but im modded alittle.

cam
under drive pulleys
headmen headers
lid
full borla exhaust
stage 2 clutch and short shift
and alot of suspenion work
