metal part on e-brake handle really hot, normal??
i have a 95 z28 and whenever i drive it for like 30 min or more you can start to feel alot of heat coming from the slot where the e-brake handle is. the metal part on the handle itself will get extremely hot! i was just wondering if this was normal. i had a 97 z28 and the cars listed in my avatar and i dont remember them doing that..... do 95 z's have tranny coolers? could that be the difference?

If it is an auto it should have a tranny cooler built in to the radiator. There is a rubber seal around the ebrake lever that may have fallen off. Mine came off of my T/A and I had to glue it back on.
