No Error codes - poor running LS1
Hey everyone, I'm new to the site but have owned my 2000 WS6 for 9 years. I'm having a performance problem that seems to be getting worse. I occasionally spudder under normal driving conditions. It feels like I lost my fuel pressure or have no fuel to the injectors. I don't get an error code, I have 55-60 psi at the fuel rail, I have reset the error codes, changed spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body, changed plug wires, changed 2 o2 sensors and am now in process of checking vacuum system. My car will run okay most of the time after it is up to speed but when I push on the pedal hard the car will drop out or then surge if I keep the pedal down. it was a daily driver but has not had many miles put on it in the last 2 years. I thought it was a transmission problem at first and then the dealer told me it was a fuel pump problem? If I have 55-60 psi when I'm driving how can I be sure the fuel pump is bad???

found the problem!!!!!!!!!!!
After looking through some Threads and inspecting my Intake Air Temp. sensor I found that it had no resistance at all...it was wide open......I got a new one from AdvanceAuto for 12.99 and cleaned the MAF.....running like a champ.....I got my 325 horses back.........
******The dealer wanted 1300$ to pull the fuel pump out and replace it******LS1.com just saved me a lot of cash..............
Thanks, Matt

Wow nice you were able to find your trouble on your own. Didn't it set any codes?
