Serious Whining!!! Help Plz
Ok it seems like I have serious gear whine coming from under the center console. It resonates loudly in and outside the car, and it is present in 1st thru 6th gear. The sound is dependant on how fast I am going, It gets terrible above 50 mph. The tranny still shifts and acts perfect so could it be the rear diff? I have motive 4:10 rear gears. Any input will be greatly appreciated!

Do you have a stock shifter? There is a rubber boot that helps deaden some of the noise. Maybe it is torn or missing?
