pinion seal leaking

So my rear diff is leaking and I have been reading a lot about these 10 bolt rear ends. I am thinking about moving up to the 12 bolt but I dont know where to start looking. Where should I start looking. Can I pull on from a truck and the junkyard ands get it fabricated? What are the routes people have gone to find and get the 12 bolt. I have a 99 SS M6.

I guess I have the question because a guy Iknow will sell me another ten bolt with 410 gears but I am wondering if it is even worth it if the rear end is going to out before next year. I could get it for a good price.the whole rear end for $400. IT only has 1500 miles on it.

Just replace the seal. Save your money to buy a good aftermarket rearend like Strange or Moser.

this is the way you want to go. you have 3 to go with, a 9 inch is the most pop for a m6, a 12 bolt is what most a4 guys will run and a s60 from strange has a mix of guys running them.
