Dumb plug wire question.

I installed a set of MSD wires on my 99 today and didn't use the heatsheild off the stock ones should I go back and put those on or will It be alright w/out them they didn't seem to fit tight enough on the MSDs

don't worry about it. I didn't use them either and haven't run them in many years.

MSD will hold up to the heat... I threw mine away.

I got rid of my stockers and picked up some Accel wire protectors, slides over the wire and does the job just fine.. Should be fine with or without them.
