I must have been really lucky with my 2 previous camaros because neither whined at all. The camaro I have now never whined until 69,000 miles then it started.

That sounds like my but we put all new in it with 4.10's it's a #2 so we we had to put a thick gear in it so we think that is why I have drove it it alot and raced it ?

Pewter- 2002 Z28 M6
I have a 2002 Z-28 and at 30K my rear end started whining. Dealership replaced the carrier bearings and pinion bearing. $900.00. No whining in 15K miles. HTH......
