Light Pewter Metallic- 2000 Camaro SS M6
The plug is epoxied into the tube, but I'm not sure how deep the plug is. You'll need to drill it out. How much room is there near that plug? If it's as tight as I think, you'll need to remove the intake to set it up for vacuum brakes.

Bad News
Thanks Gator,
I had a feeling, but was hoping against hope that it wasn't so. The center of the plug seems to slide in and out (no idea why) and I was hoping to remove that portion and epoxy the fitting that I bought for it inside the opening....No easy answers, I guess.
Thanks for the assistance/info.

Plug in manifold
Turns out that this plug is easily removable and I have done so, with the help of one more learned than myself, which is practically everyone!! If you push "in" towards the intake the plug is released and will pull out without resistance. I ordered the correct plug from Chevrolet and hooked the power brake booster to it. No issues and good brakes!!

Time to buy a vowel...
The "button" pushes in and I can pull it out.
The "collar" that the button slides in can spin, (so can the button) but I can't pull it out.
Before I start using force, what am I missing?
Thanks!
PS...
I've pushed in the button and am pulling on the collar.

Button
It's been awhile, but I remember that you push the button in and pull out on the outer ring with a small screwdriver.....

This is getting silly...
Pushed in on the button. Cannot pry the collar out. (I can spin the button as well as the collar.)
Grabbed the collar with vise grips and tried tapping it out with a mallet.
No joy!
Figured that the button may not be in far enough (The red "telltale" is still slightly visible when the button is in), and tried to lever it in further with a small pry bar. (You can tell I'm desperate!) Nope!
It feels like the collar has a spring clip retainer. (Virtually no fore/aft motion, while I can spin it easily using my fingers.)
I know I could crush the button with vise grips, but I was hoping to avoid the gorilla solution.
Ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
