Thread: ms4 cam upgrade ?s

I am only planning on a 3200 stall and 3.73's. I told TSP that and they recommended a 228R. I just can't wrap my mind around a 4000 stall and how that can be streetable. I have never built a car before but I know alot of guys with old streetrods and they all tell me I'm nuts if I put that big of a stall in my car.

3800 is the highest i would consider streetable, have you looked into the torquer 2, that cam would match a 3200 pretty nicely i believe

I wouldn't waste the time or money on a 3200....with as tight as these new converters are, the smallest I would go with is 3400.
I would likely go 3600 with even the 228R.

ok so i took the ms4 back and got the ms3 but swap is coming together should have the swap done by monday then off to tune

i a going to try and put some videos together i finished the swap bout two hours ago it started up and ran just fine first try sounds sick
im gunna call texas speed and performance tommorw to set up a dyno tune apointment so should have some numbers soon

hey the ms 4 might work now but miss a shift and then you'll have a chance to fly cut your pistons!

my camara sucked for video but i will try and get the dyno sheet on here it made 411 hp and 387 torque with just pacesetter long tubes and ms3 cam not bad

yea stock 241 heads well i upgraded the springs ret. pushrods and put ls7 lifters but yea 411 on cam and headers an the 11s aint happenen till i get the 12 bolt i have already blew one 10 bolt
