You obviously do not know me. I CAN afford to pay in cash for every part there brand new. I am always looking for deals for friends. I saw his parts and made an offer, whether low or not. Maybe he would meet me half way between and let it go. I just found a 9 inch rear for a friend, almost new for $1400 because the guy was hard up. So, don't assume unless you know!!!
Hodges, I will pm you, I might take a couple things off your hands.

hey this is my section and i'm looking out for everyone. i get the low ball to a point but over 2 k on 6 k. that's just crazy. come on now. hey i get people are hard up sometimes. but don't be rude about. it's between you two anyway. it's looked bad you offer 4k then say you don't need it. seems weird. your from horsepowertalk right? it's cool you do your thing, and i'll look out for our own.

Its cool. Here is my theory....everyone asks for more then what they know they will get. So, you have a set of long tube headers that are probably worth $500, you might ask $600 knowing someone will offer. I go the other way and offer $300 and you should come back and say $500 is as low as I can go. I may offer $400 or even $500 knowing you came down. Same principal, maybe he comes down from $6k to $5k and I go up and meet him and everyone is happy.
I have friends building fbody's and I know what they need. I will offer and buy something if it is a really good deal to help them out. I mean no disrespect to Hodges and if it came across as a dick move I do apologize.

Would a happy medium be like 5500.00? Does that sound reasonable or is that still to high?

Will that torque arm fit on the stock 7.5in rear, or just the 9in, Im was palnning on ordering this from thunder racing, but if this one fits my 7.5 lets talk. Does it just have the front drive shaft loop, and is it the poly bushing one or the one with the chromeoly ends. Also I take it that its the one for long tubes.

Ok I have a new re-edited for sale list-
-Absolute Stg 2 6.0L heads with 987 dual springs, titanium retainers, 2.02int 1.60exh valves/seats milled .003 just looked over, checked and cleaned, they no longer produce these heads and these are one of the better flowing and better HP making heads out there. Kinda hard to come by in my opinion. Asking $1,200.00
-Comp Cams 224/228 .567/.588 114lsa custom grind for blower/N20 Asking $250.00
-CPT Pro Race Transmission 4L65E just built maybe 600 miles ago has deep drain pan as well Asking $1,200.00
-MMS crank pulley Asking $75.00
-Spohn adjustable torque arm, comes with D/S loop welded to it Asking $300.00
-Ford 9inch rear, 4.11 gears, detroit tru-track posi, paid $200.00 extra for backing plated, rear has less that 50 miles on it! Not even broken in yet paid $2.750.00..... Asking $2,000.00 FIRM
-Weld Draglite XP’s. They no longer make these anymore in the 16inch rears. The skinnies and rears have brand new tread. rears have MT ET Streets 26x10.5x16. I will also include a BRAND NEW set of MT ET Streets 28x11.5x16. This whole package for $1,000.00
-1 stock CD players out of Camaro and Trans Am....monsoon. $100.00 ea shipped!
This is whats left, I do have someone interested in the cam, tranny, and stall for now. I did do a price drop on the tranny and rear. Thanks KevinLast edited by Hodgesz28; 10-01-2006 at 12:50 PM.
