Looking at picking up a 99 vette but a couple Q's
I'm looking at a 99 Vette A4.
It's red but is has the Z06 air ducts and the rims are black. Was this an option on regular C5's or did someone add them?

1.How do I know each Tire still has the TPMS?
2.The car has Eagle F1-gs tires and these are not runflats correct?

oh..and unless its a convertible and thats the reason your buying it save your money for an 01 z06...the price 97-01 regualar vettes are going for always seems high to me since u can get an 01 z06 for a few k more......how much with how many miles if u dont mind me asking???? and usually autos go slightly cheaper..less desirable...i know u can pick up a fairly low mileage 01 z06 for 27-28k

not positive on that.....i THINK they all came with runflats 97-04..regualar vettes that is........z06s did NOT come with run flats......the runflats that came with those WERE goodyr eagles.....im not familar with the difference on the sidewall of the tire though to tell the diff between the runflat good yrs and the regualars............try tirerack.com ....loook up both the runflats and non run flat good yrs

Good luck on your purchase. Here are some answers for ya.
1. You can actually check each tire sensor by scrolling through the driver information center in the car. If there are sensors missing or malfunctioning, there will be trouble codes and a message that would be displayed on the dic.
2. Those are aftermarket tires, never came standard and they are not run-flats.
3. No spare because run-flats are standard.2009 JSB Lingenfelter ZR1

My bad, I just went out and checked my spare stock tire and it says F1 EMT and has a small GS on it too. I was thinking of the GS-D3 tires that are not runflats.
