i used a pacesetter 2-piece ORY and had it modified to fit the XS headers into an SLP LM catback exiting out through 22" long 4" dia Magnaflow rolled stainless steel tips.

SOM- 2002 SS
I've been keeping in touch with them and just about lost patience and was about to order from texas speed like 2 Hours ago until I just noticed the email that everything (ory) is finalized etc.
I like the idea that the Texasspeed ory is slip fit in multiple sections so theres some adjustability. My options were down to this vs pacesetters + texasspeed ory.
The big thing it comes down to is fitment. Both are fairly inexpensive compared to many others and of course the Lsxtreme ones are stainless which is a huge bonus vs uncoated pacesetters...

when you get that LM II in lets have a sound bit to see how it sounds. Im starting to consider a new cat back, but not sure if i just want a muffler or a whole new cat.

sure will this saturday is calling for thunderstorms 60% chance but i think im gonna take it to the craft shop anyway and when i get home just use my sham wow in the garage.
i just read in another thread some say not to get a tune until you get headers installed this made me think?
I have my PCM tuned by frost already and i do not have the exhaust on the car what my question is is will the tune reset itself back to stock if i drive it without the headers or will it still keep the tune?

the pipe hits that brace on the floor pan right where the gas lines are covered.....a better fit IMO would be to flatten the whole drivers side pipe like the stock one......that 3 inches sure loses you some clearance.......and as you can tell there is less than a quarters clearance from the floor pan.......and I did put in new poly motor mounts

sorry to hear your problem. Thats strange how the TSP setup doesnt line up right like that. Did you try just fitting the driver side in first and then the passenger side afterward or does it not matter. Im assuming if the TSP ory pipe has a two piece y-pipe like alot of other brands. just trying to help a little. I used an LLP ory and it had slight flat spots in it unlike yours where it trys to curve around stuff.

I ended up at a muffler shop.........175$ later.......they smushed the hell out of the drivers side pipe to make it fit
