lol 60 is the side wall height in millimeters.. Such as example: (45-50-55-60) hence a "60" is all the taller I'd go on a 16 inch wheel for instance.. Anything taller would likely rub.. I don't run 17-18-19 inch wheels on anything so maybe someone else will chime in here. The first number on a tire is tread width, second as stated above is wall height, and the 3rd is the size of wheel the tire will fit..

These are my new ZR summer tires for example. 265 is their width, 45 is their height, and the last is for the wheel size.

LOL, I was thinking WTF?? Factory tire height is right at 26" and the 19's from the C6's have 285/35's which are right at 27" tall. I wouldn't go any taller than that personally.

Nope.. they are 30mm wider than factory, 10 mm shorter, and mine are $700.00 per set and zr rated. Factory 16 tires were not.. I don't use "tire rack" I special order mine from a local supplier. This will shave 2nd gear but will see torque to the road gains across the board..

M-K, I get what you're saying, OP was asking about total height and what would be the tallest he could install.

Yes! As I stated I could only give examples of 16's which is what I run on all my sports cars. May be better if you could give him examples of larger wheels. Since the op does'nt know what wheel size he'll be runnning yet..

Thanks. I think i want a 15" rim just so i can get the most sidewall out of the tire. I can adjust the suspension i just love it when i see a wheelwell full of tire and not rim or dead space.
