2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
You'll be ok untill you start going for the high RPM clutch dumps. That's when it gets dicey, especially if you have sticky tires.
OTOH, my friend has a 67 Camaro with the 8.2" rear end with 3.73's in front of an LM7/T56. He broke the output shaft on a 5k rpm dump with MT DR's on the back. Yet another weak link unless you "Viperize" the tranny.
My 02 is an A4. It's more frendly on the rear but not by much.

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
I recommend a girdle and also welding the axle tubes to the pumpkin, that's what I've done and no problems whatsoever yet. But, mine is a dailey driver with 2-3 times a year at the track on street tires, best 60 ft of *only* 1.98 with a 12.89 @ 109.85 best so far 1/4....

Both are easy installs, did them both as well as the Panhard rod. I put the LCA's in the freezer first to shrink them down, they slipped right in place. Compare them to the stock ones, kind of funny to see the difference.
