Hot Cam setup w/ mild-ported stockers, and a good tune should produce anywhere from 320-340rwhp. It depends though, as LT1 #'s seem to vary by a large margin. I have seen LT4 HOT cam-only cars w/ full bolt-ons and LT's make 330+rwhp, and I have also seen ported-stocker/hot-cam cars make under 320rwhp. It just depends. The HOT cam is definitely NOT the cam to choose if you wanna make big power.
I would expect your low #'s with a stock cam. By running ported heads w/ the stock bumstick, your leaving a LOT on the table. With a strong cam (like a CC306 for example), plus a better tune considering the issues you said you had with your current tune, expect much better #'s than that.
LT1's typically put down anywhere from 235-245rwhp for an A4 car and 245-260 for an M6. Some have claimed higher #'s though. I've only dyno'd one LT1 before in bone-stock trim and that was my first car - a '94 Z28 M6 - back in 1999. The car made 248rwhp/286rwtq with 80,000 miles on the clock.

well the reason i ask, im looking into buying a set of ported heads from someone locally whom owns a shop that works only on heads. long story short i have a buddy that took his lt1 camaro and had his heads ported by that shop and made 359 rwhp with the mods i listed, i just wanted to see if the heads he ports are worth the cost and make good power
