need help picking tires

I am going to be getting a set of billit specialties 15x10 inch street lites and i need tires. I want a good tire to hook on but i want the same height as my stock tires so i dont have to change speedometer when i put them on. I also want a tire i can drive on the road too. i wont be driving on them much except for the track or to a show every now and then maybe. what tires should i get?

Do you realize you need to grind your calipers to make them fit? Do you just want rear tires or all around?

ya i know i need to grind the calipers. i just want the rear right now. in spring i will get the front skinnies.

what about Hoosier drag radials? they are pretty much a slick with two grooves in them. i would get the 275-50r-15 since they are pretty much the same height. they are DOT aproved but on the tires they say not for highway use. are these street legal?

ET street radials is what I keep hearing is the best way to go, but don't expect more than 3000 miles out of them.
