what kind of headers?
I have a 98 camaro ss and i want to put headers on it. it already has a slp loudmouth exhaust. i was wondering what headers would fit with that the easiest. i hear about long tube headers and different designs but i just want something that will fit with the exhaust thats on it. im new at this. thanks

the headers dont connect directly with the catback . . there is a y in between the two. and if you get an aftermarket y, as long as its made for our cars, you should have no/few problems mating up the y and your catback
pacesetters with their y would probably be your best bet for the moneyLast edited by GULLETT17; 09-25-2008 at 10:00 AM.

pacesetters +1. I got mine for like $499 from ebay with the ORY and coated headers.

Do the pacesetters. Like said above, best bang for the buck.

Pacesetter LT's and ORY, like everyone else said. Thats what I have, no problems at all, perfect. Sounds good with my SLP loudmouth as well

Prepare for your car to be ridiculously loud. It will also sound raspy. I had pacesetter, ory and Borlamouth (Loudmouth with a Borla XR-1 mufler in place of the resonator) and it was better but still had a little rasp. A catted Y setup will yield better results with the loudmouth. My .02

if you want to stay away from a lot of rasp get a magnflow catback... they sound good and again and excellent bang for your buck...
