    2 things
    1. when discussing the hydrogen from water deal in another thread, i made fun of those by comparing it to these tornado deals.

    2. these have been dyno proven to make you LOSE hp and economy. making the air swirl looks good on a cinematic, but it really only slows down the airflow. for best performance and economy you want the air to move straight in

then swirl in the combustion chamber ( a certain way)

and swirl out of the headers.

have you ever seen the flames on a nitrous car? on rare occasions, you can actually see then swirling out blue flames.....its awesome

I have one on each of my header collectors.

They help get the air out of the motor.

first of all, how could an obstruction in an intake tube be a good thing?

i prefer to have a buddy rest on my radiator support and aim a gas powered leaf blower into my intake

that swirl has nothing to do with what the air does in the intake. it stops and is compressed in the cyl. if it is swirling out of the top of the headers its just because its bouncing off of a bend in the piping. that is also slowing it down, just doesnt matter much for those things
