Spark knock help
Got deployed overseas, before I left I noticed I had some high rpm spark knock, came home in January on leave and got it tuned with LS1 edit and it took care of it. The ex only started it occasionally until the battery died and then just gave up. Just got back this month have ran about 3-4 tanks of gas and now it knocks whenever I get on it. I'm changing the plugs tomorrow and cleaning the injectors. What else could cause it to spark knock? I usually only run exxon or mobil in it.

Is it possible for the ECU to have reverted back to the stock map when my battery died?

I'm going to get it tuned again with LS1Edit again next week. I'm also going to check the IAT sensor. If that doesn't help what next? Knock sensor?

Yeah...these things can make a grown man cry....and you are going about it the correct way....check eliminate/check eliminate....
I doubt your ECU was flashed back to stock...possible though and a reflash with your old program from your tuner sure would not hurt anything.....I still suspect a IAT issue telling your ECU to advane/retard timing based on flawed readings.....I would eliminate that possibility sooner than later....
Hey your in San Antonio....PM me....bring that SOB too me....I'll fix it....

Could be an oil consumption problem.
Check the PCV system and consider adding a catch can, lots of 01-02 cars have this problem.
