Kicker 6.5" Subs
Has anyone installed the Kicker 6.5" subs in their F-body? If so did you put them in the sails or in the door? I am looking into getting a set and would like to know the quality of the sound and locations of the install.
The reason I ask if anyone put them in the doors is because my Kenwood stereo allows be to control the frquency of the bass/mid/highs goind to the front and rear and since the sails and trunk speakers are daisy chained it would be cheaper for me to put them in the door.Last edited by McCool318; 04-29-2008 at 07:32 PM.

I was wondering about these too. Read something about them the other day in another topic briefly. I gotta do something about my speakers sometime.. my speakers are shot. I have NO bass at all, and it sounds terrible and lots of rattles (busted sound naturally). Oh well.. got the good system in my Ford anyway.

I am not running the stock stereo with this. It did have the monsoon system but I changed it out in favor of my Kendwood KDC-X990. I can control the frequency to the speakers, size of the speakers, and cross overs.
I ordered a set Thursday night, but they won't be in until Monday or Tuesday and I leave Monday at 0630 for a 3 week TDY. I will be able to put them in Memorial day weekend because that is when I return.
