i was just wondering if anyone could give me a little lesson on resistors i tested both keys and i came up with 01.87 then i went to radio shack and could not figure out which resister to buy.

resistor band explanation


There's an explanation of the band colors. It looks like you need a 1.8k resistor. You may have to solder 2 different resistors together to get that. 1870 is your median so I would try to get as close to 1.8k as possible and if you can find a 5% resistor (silver band) get that one.

i figured it out and got the car running. Thanks for all the help couldnt have fixed the problem without you guys.
