    Custom Painted Airlid

Hi everyone! First time poster here. I thought I would contribute to the board with my little project that I am just wrapping up. I recently decided to custom paint my Direct-Flo air lid and add some decals. Follow the link for the write up and let me know what you think!

I did mine myself too, much in the same steps as you did. Although I did have problems arise when one of my hairs landed in the wet clearcoat. So folks remember to wear a nice tight beanie or cap, just in case.

Will you spray a coat or two of clear at the end to seal the decal from rolling up?
