line lock
My brother got me a SLP line lock for Christmas this year and I have to say it is pretty cool. I had a tiny bit of trouble installing it, just some fitment issues. I can't wait to try it on dry roads as ours are covered in snow. I think it'll make satging at the track easier.

it's a swich activated devise that locks your front wheels only so you can do a burnout more easily. also aides in not drifting across the stageing lights with a manual transmission.
You push the button and then your brakes, then only your front brakes are held, push the button again and the brake releases.

Sorry I don't have a digital camera or I would post pictures. I really like it because I mounted the switch in my cigarette tray so it doesn't clutter up my kick panel or anything. I'll see if I can borrow a digital camera maybe.

I bought the SLP line lock a few months ago and was giddy as a school girl the day it came in the mail! I had some issues w/ all the fittings to, after about a day or so I finaly sealed up all the tiny leaks. Sure does make a steady burnt out easy as hell on the M6 haha!

Actually you pump up your brakes hold the pedal then push the button and release the brake pedal. Other wise its going to still push you. Or at least this is how mine works
The selenoid holds the pressure in the front brake lines.
If you have no pressure built up before you press the botton your not going to hold anything.
I didn't like my push button to activate the line lock. I had to many other things to worry about. So I installed a switch instead. Works Beautiful, Its one mod I wouldn't go to the track without.

Well I guess it all depends on the car, I can just mash the pedal to the floor one time, flip the switch, and the car won't move a 1/4 of an inch until I flip that switch again! Ive been debating on getting a knob w/ a button switch or just keepin my togle, i have tge togle switch mounted down out of the way near the data port

I don't have one installed on my T/A yet but here is my 240's line lock on the top right corner above the brake cylinder.

Ya it prob does depend on the car. In my 240 I can hold it down and flip my switch and it don't move as long as I start in 1st gear but a 2nd gear start it moves a little, I never start in 1st gear tho. I always do a 2nd gear burn out from the go. SO I give it a couple of pumps and it don't move at all.

I have one on the chevelle,,,and I am like a couple others mentioned,,,I have to pump my brakes 2-3 times then press the button,,,,but I think it has to do with a 250+ at .050 cam and power brakes
I have my linelock wired into my horn button,,,to keep things sneaky and clean. And the solenoid is down on the frame and hidden from view.

Dad his wired to normaly open push button, much like a door bell switch and has it mounted on the shifter just below the knob (72 Chevelle 4 speed).
