Another wire/plugs ? sorry
Will wires and plugs really make that much of a diff? Also, is 600$ right for a performance tune up? :/

Wires = No unless you have a broken one or want something "pretty"
New plugs = Yes because they do wear out & performance & economy will suffer if they are too worn
$600 for a tune = ???!!! Unless you have some mods forget itLast edited by rbob93; 12-01-2007 at 08:02 AM.

ya I dont really have any big ones, Just Cutout, raim air package with Lid :/ but ya, he said I have to get a license to get a performance tune which is 300 then the tune itself is 300...
Also, so the MD wires wont be better then the stock ones?

I wouldn't do a performance tune without a significant modification like a cam, heads, etc.
I have a 2002 Z, I replaced the plugs & wires with MSD and noticed ZERO difference. However, the car is 6 years old now and it is good to know that the plugs and wires are new.
My car only had about 25,000 miles on it when I replaced the plugs and wires.
Unless your car isn't running right, don't expect any 'seat of the pants' difference from wires/plugs.

buy new ones, not that expensive. I went with NGK TR55IX iridium. Im gonna change to TR6's soon though. If u plan on getting headers there wouldnt be a better time to change them. $600?? Wut the fuck? Me and my friend did mine in my driveway. I did the driver side and he did the passanger side. #8 plug from the bottom is ur best way of getting it out.

"Hey Justin,
The labor for the plugs and wires $210.60 (does not include
plugs/wires)
and the initial performance computer tune is $615. One the first time, you have to purchase
a license ($300) for tuning the vehicle. Once the license is purchased
we can re-tune anytime you need to and all you pay is tuning/dyno time"
thats what he told me. (and me and my friends are gonna do my plugs/wires)
