It makes it easy on parts due to the initial hit NOT being so hard. We have a car that goes mid 9's with NO progressive. With street tires or cars that get street raced more than track use they are a must unless you do a baby shot 125 or less.
It all depends on what your purpose is.....They are getting cheaper and cheaper.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

It all depends on what controller you buy. You can adjust the ramp speed on some while others just delay the full output by a set time frame.
Some are also NOT the most user friendy.

For 150 shot, I run a window switch, but no progressive function. Keep in mind progressive controllers pulse your noids therefore putting them under increased stress.

I don't use the progressive control, but I do have a digiset time looped through the WOT switch. That way I can delay the spray at the launch for better traction ! Here's one on E-Bay now !

You can adjust in .1 sec increments !!! I usally go .3 on a bad day...

The car runs VERY well! I haven't had it to the track yet - and found out when I had it on the dyno (#s below) that the bottle was very low and still turned decent numbers. I think on a full bottle I'd be in the 460-475hp range. As long as your timing is set to stock, you should be fine to go to the 150hp right out of the box.

To be safe, you could get it tuned on the 150 shot to be sure you're not getting any KR or running it lean at all.
