gearing question and opinion needed
I have an automatic 2000 trans am. I want to regear it with either a 3.73 or 3.90 gear? Which do you suggest? Keep in mind this is my daily driver (not much highway just about 10 miles a day) And also is it true that i would need a stall converter to feel any difference at all?
2000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust, shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

When you do decide to get the convertor, I suggest a 3000 - 3600 rpm, locker... Still very streetable ! My 4600 locker cruises pretty good with 4.10 gears. OD is pretty high in the A4...
