header help

i have been looking high and low and every site i visit says diffrent things, my question is will headers advertised for a 05-06 fit an 04, the exhaust ports on the ls1 and ls2 look to be in the same place so i dont see why they wouldn't fit but want to know for sure before i order them

No...steering rack clearance is different.......

does that mean the long tube pace setter sells wont fit then? they say 04-06

i've seen the pacesetters advertised for 04-06 and i been looking @ the slp headers for the 04 and the 05-06 and from the pics the only diff. i can see is the mid pipes. the pacesetters that sell for the 04-06 dont come with a mid pipe so it looks like they would fit. i mean the only change from the 04 and the 05-06 is the bore and stroke. So whos put any pacesetter headers on a 04 and do they fit or do you have to make them fit?
