Which Timing Chain?
Rather than Hi-Jack the previous thread I will ask the question. Installing a Comp 218/218...0.057 Lift Cam. What would you recommend for a new chain assy? I was thinking of the COMP CAMS LS1/LS2/LS6 BILLET ADJ TIMING CHAIN #7153. Standard crankshaft to camshaft centerline.

Are you looking for just a timing chain? Really most people who run even a far more extreme set up than yours (including me) just get an LS2 timing chain. Usually between $35-$40. That is really all you need. If you are going to hit that 600rwhp+ mark then you may want to go with something a bit more heavy duty, but the LS2 will suit your needs just fine.

When I did my cam swap a few years back, I when with the SLP's Double Roller Timing Chain Set. I 've put 40,000 miles on it and have had zero issues.
